Airbiopf appeals to Governor for RBI retirees

ishore Chakraborty, President, AIRBIOPF, in his letter dated 24th June, 2019 while expressing gratitude to the Governor for the benevolent approach shown towards the pre-November 2012 pensioners in the matter of pension revision, has appealed on behalf of the retirees to use his good offices to resolve the following pending issues pertaining to the retirees:

  • Introduction of GRADED PENSION in RBI in tune with Central Government Pension Rules in respect of super senior citizens.
  • Allowing one last option for pension to the left over 2500 CPF optees
  • speed up the process of wage revision due from 1.11.2017 as it will pave the way for revision of pension for all those who have retired prior to November 1, 2017.  

Airbiopf anticipates a positive outcome shortly.

But it has been a continuing general grievance for the past several years that whenever a new insurer  is introduced for reasons best known to bank,  the ID cards are not dispatched within  reasonable period . It is so because at the time of changing the insurer, the bank does not impose a condition that cards are  issued within one month invariably.
