I retired from service on 31/12/2013. Never tried to bother myself why DA revised for retirees every six months unlike three months for those in service. Whatever be the reason it is quite harmful apart from being discriminatory. Retirees fight against inflation is systematically weakened with above formula. Pending revision of pension which also made the fight for survival increasingly difficult we must now unite to plead/fight for uniform DA application in terms of its periodicity. Can they not (ie. retirees forum) take this legitimate demand to the authority for course correction? Let me know your reaction pl.
