AIRBIOPF demands interim relief till pension is updated
General Secretary, AIRBIOPF, has written a letter to Governor , Shri Raghuram Rajan requesting for interim relief till pension is updated.
In letter dated 16th August 2014 he says :
“It is also earnestly requested to grant interim relief to the retirees till the final order of updation of pension is received from the Govt.”
The letter also says:
” it is also gathered that the formal letter of approval from the Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India for the amendment to pension regulation clause 2(2) is yet to be received by the Bank. More than three months have elapsed since the letter of acceptance of the conditions has been sent by Reserve Bank of India to Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India.”
General Secretary, Adv. Ramesh Aherrao, while appreciating the graciousness of the Governor, has requested him to take the final few steps so that the updation of pension is effected .

very reasonable and justified demand. obviously, govt is not at all in a hurry to settle this issue. hope to hear some good news soon
can anybody enlighten me the benefits which will accrue if pension is updated.
We hope that Modi Govt. will surely approve our justified demands of pension updation
