Dearness Relief for RBI Pensioners -70 slabs more from August 19 to January 20
Labour Bureau, M/o Labour and employment have made available the following AICPINs for the quarter ending June 30, 2019:

As the pensioners are being paid Dearness relief at the average 6885 for the half year from February 19 to July 19 , whereas the new average works out to 7167, the increase in DR effective August 19 comes to 282 points or 70 slabs .
Therefore, the rise comes to 7% of Basic Pension.
As such, the total DR payable to all pensioners (other than Family Pensioners/ Ex-gratia recipients) shall be 68.1% of Basic Pension for the half year from August 19 to January 20.
(ii) The Dearness Relief in respect of all family pensioners will be 162.3% of Family Pension.
(iii) The in service employees will get 36 slabs more.
