Declaration of savings/ investments/ income from other sources by RBI retirees

RBI has issued a circular dated 22nd July,19 advising that the window for entering declaration of savings/ investment/ income from other sources has been enabled in Samadhan portal.
1. For retirees in Class IV, the local HR Administrators may enter the declaration in the Samadhan portal (on behalf service) upon receipt of hard copy of the declaration from them. 
2.Upfront savings of Rs. 150000.00 has been provided in the Samadhan system to all pensioners from April 1, 2019, which will be removed from the system on September 30, 2019. However, the window to enter declaration will continue to be available to the pensioners till October 31, 2019. 
3. As regards ‘Income from Other Sources’ (both income from house property and other income) and savings/investments under Section 80 and 80C , it will be kept open from November 1, 2019 till December 31, 2019. Accordingly, all retirees may submit proof of actual savings/ investment income from other sources to the local office before the deadline positively. 

Incidentally, the last date for filing of ITRs for the assessment year 2019-20 has been extended to the 31st August, 2019 by CBDT
