Flood Relief Advance –
RBI has decided to grant Flood Relief Advance equivalent to two months gross emoluments repayable in 36 monthly installments to the staff posted in Bhubaneswar Office who have suffered extensive damage to their properties due to the cyclone. Employees who are posted at other centres but have left behind their families in the Bank’s quarters allotted to them or their own houses situated in such affected areas will also be eligible for this advance.
Eligible employees should apply for the advance in the prescribed format on or before June 10, 2019. The advance will be treated as non-monetary perquisite.

Sharing of information
Bank has reiterated that employees should use social media in a responsible manner. Every employee is required to maintain strictest secrecy regarding the affairs of the Bank and its constituents. Employees shall not divulge, any information of a confidential nature unless compelled to do so by a judicial or other authority. Contributions to the press require prior sanction of the competent authority. Employees should not use social media in any manner that would bring disrepute to the organisation or tantamount to breach of confidentiality.
Payment of Dearness Allowance / Dearness Relief
Based on All India Consumer Price Index (AIACPX) numbers for Industrial Workers (Base = 100) available for the quarter ended March 2019, rate of Dearness Allowance for the quarter May 2019 to July 2019 for employees in Class I, III and IV, drawing pay in the scales of pay based on CPI=4440 works out to 64.5 per cent of pay. There will be no change in the existing rates of Dearness Relief on Pension / family pension /ex-gratia amount.
Holiday Home-Delphin Resorts, Andaman and Nicobar Islands
The Bank has entered a tie-up with Dolphin Resort, Havelock Island, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and set up a holiday home for officers with effect from May 16, 2019 to May 15, 2020. The holiday home is situated in Swaraj Deep, Andaman.
