  1. Thanks for the information..Tried to calculate my revised pension for February 2018 at the new rate..but was not able to do so. I retired on 31.08.2007..My basic pension is Rs.15000 before computation. ( after computation Rs.10000/-..but DA eligible for Rs.15000/-)..How can I calculate my pension at the revised rate of DA?
    Thanks

    1. PUT Aug-07 in calculator as date of retirement.
Put 15000/- against the Basic Pension
You will get RS.28755 as DR.1323 is the likely increase

  3. Your calculator is not taking into account the restoration of pension after 15 years. For example id Date of retirement is December 2003 it still shows pension after commutation whereas it should also add 1/3rd portion of pension in the answer in such case. For less than 15 years the calculator is perfect.

  5. Hello Sir,
My Mother is receiving Family pension (My father retired from RBI in March 2013). I have the following questions
    1) Post 65 years age, is family Pension reduced?
    2) What is the amount we need to enter for Basic pension? (last pension received by my father or the Pension received last month by my Mother)
    3) Will there be automatic income tax deduction at source for Family pensioners?

    Thanks,
    Rajender M
