This reflects a sad state of affairs in RBI and offices about the maintenance of data of Pensioners and their spouses. A short cut in the form of ‘Validation form for activation’ has been introduced to update the data in the bank, proper maintenance of which , in fact, is the sole responsibility of the employer elsewhere.
However, members may note to lodge claims for the spouse on the basis of their own cards and the TPA is bound to settle the same

As stated in earlier post Pension in RBI has been revised effective March 19 and Bank has been asked by the M/o Finance to apply the multiplying factors in respect of various categories of retirees as per table below. I retired from RBI on 31.1.2013 as Pvt. Secreary/AGM from Lucknow Office. After the recent wage settlement due from Nov. 2012 my pension reduced and I got Rs. 1800/- per month less pension. Should I take it as bank’s policy……… wage revision but pension reduction…..and what we will get after upgradation if bank agrees for that.
Have you not got increased commutation.!
