Thus, the decision to restrict the visit of retirees is regressive. It seems to represent a thinking where the senior citizens are considered as dead wood, not requiring any comfort vis-à-vis working employees. Please do not forget that all working employees will be retired employees, one day in future.

Pre 97 RBI retirees are getting revised pension only on account of the stay granted by Mumbai high court -WP2403 of 2009-,although the bank had issued letters for making recoveries and in absence of the court orders helpless retirees were left with no alternative but to submit to huge recoveries . No organisation other than the court could have stalled the recoveries, and , as a consequence cause of updating Pension would have been lost for ever.
